**About the Role**:
Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking a Maintenance Officer for our Oakleigh location, working within our Residential Aged Care Home you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our seniors living facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming. You’ll use your skills to carry out repairs and preventative maintenance, liaising with contractors for bigger while also supporting grounds upkeep, this may include tasks such as mowing or pruning.

This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly contribute to the wellbeing of our residents and the smooth operation of our services.

**About You**

**Essential**:

- Comfortable working within an Aged Care Environment
- Has a strong knowledge and commitment to Work Health and Safety
- A minimum 12 months’ experience as a Handyperson, Maintenance or Trade.
- Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
- Hold a current drivers licence
- Hold valid Australian Work Rights - **Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor**

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge or experience using a computer-based maintenance management system
