**Property Network of Australia** is seeking an
**Operations and Facilities Assistant** to support the general maintenance of the centre working alongside the Operations Manager for a leading shopping centre landlord based on the Gold Coast.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Provide and support the everyday maintenance of the Centre and
- environments.
- Assist with setting up Marketing and Promotional activities.
- To act as 'information and mood conduit' between Tenants and Service
- Contractors to the Operations and Centre Manager when required.
- Keep up to date with the Maintenance Manager Program.
- Minor paperwork including some reporting, ordering of requisites and follow-up.
- Investigate and report on accidents/incidents on the property and carry out remedial work to prevent similar occurrences.
- Be alert for any action, incident or equipment failure that may contribute to an accident that could cause liability to the Centre, its owners and managers.
- Ensure risk management procedures are performed continually.
- Assist the Operations Manager in the control/co-ordination of tenancy fitout procedures.
- Liaison and overseeing of all service contractors and tradesmen that are engaged from time to time to maintain the Centre i.e. air conditioning, security, lifts, fire fighting and emergency equipment, electrical systems, pest control etc. This is becoming increasingly important to ensure correct servicing by competent people and to constantly monitor areas which may involve risk.

**About you**:

- Trades/ maintenance/ or facilities background
- Has had at least 1-2 years experience in an administration role
- Good/strong computer skills
- Ideally an applicant would have an understanding of building legislation
- Can organise a scope, costings etc and undertake and initial evaluation the responses
- Prepared to go onsite from time to time to attend to basic/quick fixes
- Good communicator
- Prepared to learn
