**Disability Support Worker - Community & Life Skills Support (Casual)**

**About Us**:

**About the Role**:
This role involves supporting individuals in **community-based activities, transport, and social engagement**, as well as assisting with **basic admin or tech-related tasks** as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide **one-on-one community support**, assisting clients with daily activities and skill-building.
- Support individuals in **recreational outings on public transport, after school sports and fitness activities, and social engagement**.
- Encourage **independence in everyday tasks** such as public transport use, budgeting, and social interaction.
- Assist with **light administrative work**, including maintaining documentation and scheduling.
- Provide **general tech assistance** (e.g., basic troubleshooting, setting up devices, assisting with online forms).

**This is primarily a support worker role, but it offers an opportunity to gain experience in general administration, scheduling, and tech-related tasks for those interested.**

**Essential Criteria**:
✔ **Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Vehicle**
✔ **NDIS Worker Screening Check**
✔ **Working with Children’s Check**
✔ **National Police Check**
✔ **First Aid & CPR Certificate**
✔ **COVID-19 Immunization Certificate**
✔ **Experience in Disability, Community Support, or Youth Work (Preferred but not essential)**

**Additional skills in tech, administration, or social media would be a bonus but are not required.**

**Location & Hours**:

- **Flexible casual hours available** on weekdays and afternoons.
- Work primarily in **Melbourne’s northern suburbs**.
- Opportunities for **additional work in administrative or technology-related tasks** for those interested.

**Pay & Benefits**:
✔ **$30.00 - $42.00 per hour** (depending on experience).
✔ **Casual, flexible work schedule**.
✔ **Professional development opportunities** in general administration and tech support (optional).
