**North Street Store is seeking a talented, experienced Assistant Manager for an immediate start to lead our team in Cottesloe** Welcome to the Hot Bread Retail Group where the food we produce is simple, wholesome and delicious, made exclusively from local ingredients. In this role, you will work with the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our take away venue in Cottesloe. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the venue, creating an enjoyable experience for both our team and our valued customers. Are you a motivated individual with strong leadership skills? **This is a 38 hour contract role working Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday. Offering a 4 day working week to ensure work/life balance** **This full-time position will require weekend and possible evening work flexibility.** **Key Responsibilities**: Assist the General Manager in managing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service. Help recruit and train new staff. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and safety throughout the venue. Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and effectively. Work with the management team to implement strategies to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and a "customer-first" mindset among the staff. **Requirements**: Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a supervisory or managerial role within a similar hospitality setting. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented and highly organised to multitask effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
