**ROLE DETAILS**

**Location**: Melbourne CBD, VIC

**Schedule**:Tuesdays-Fridays, 8:30am-5:30pm (with additional hours requested when needed)

**Children**:5 month old and 2.5 year old

**Salary**: $68,000-78,000+ per year + Super + paid leave ($35-38+ per hour)

**Start date**:ASAP.

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**
- Australian citizen/Permanent Resident (no temporary visas)
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- Drivers Licence
- 2+ years of experience in similar roles with references.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This gorgeous young family is seeking flexible support to help the parents meet the needs of their infant, toddler, and household alongside work commitments. They require someone with experience caring for babies and young children who is happy to support with household tasks as well.

The 2.5 year old attends childcare 3 days a week so much of the time will be spent with only the 5 month old in the nanny's care. The parents are seeking someone who is kind, bubbly, and patient with their girls. Someone who is eager and able to facilitate age-appropriate engagement for them both.

In addition to care of the children, the family would like help with household tasks. The priorities will be meal prep and cooking (particularly for the children), laundry support, and helping to maintain a tidy home. The family has regular cleaners, but someone who is detail-oriented and organised will be a great asset to help the home run smoothly.

Flexibility to work extra hours will be required. As the parents work so close to home, and there is the possibility of occasional travel in the future, the right person for this role will be happy to work alongside parents and other family/staff members at times.

**ABOUT THE FAMILY**
Both parents work, with mum currently splitting work hours between home and their local city office. She will continue to do this at least for a while, so we are seeking someone who is happy to support her time with the children and also engage them independently as needed.

Their toddler is bright, sweet, and knows what she wants She has a great vocabulary and is easily engaged in games and imaginative play. Their 4 month old is easy-going, breastfeeds and sleeps well, and is coming up to a stage where she will begin solids and follow more of a routine. The sisters already have a gorgeous bond and both enjoy being outdoors.
