**About the role at Upguard**

As UpGuard continues to rapidly expand, we're now looking for a proficient Governance Risk and Compliance Specialist with extensive experience to lead our GRC initiatives. In this role, you will report to our CISO and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks, establish policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

**Seniority**

**Mid Level** - A role for someone with some well-developed knowledge and skills they can bring to the role and team. Typically within 2-5 years of experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Risk Management Policies and Procedures - Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to the organization
- Risk Identification and Assessment - Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks, and develop strategies to manage and mitigate these risks
- Risk Monitoring - Monitor risk levels and report potential risks to senior management and other stakeholders
