**Role Details**: The Digital Preservation Technical Analyst is responsible for providing expert technical advice on preserving digital collections, including legacy and contemporary formats. The role involves analysing, extracting, migrating, and emulating digital assets using forensic tools, and developing ingest workflows and scripts aligned with library standards. The analyst collaborates to refine procedures, documents preservation decisions, supports staff training, and maintains strong stakeholder relationships while staying abreast of emerging trends in digital preservation.

**Special Conditions**:

- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- This role requires a National Criminal History check.
