**Highlighting the importance of this role**

An opportunity exists for an Environmental Services Worker to join our team at Golden Age Aged Care Service on a Casual basis. You will be a hands-on individual who will join our supportive, caring and experienced team, responsible for Kitchen, dining room, laundry and cleaning duties within our facility.

In this role you will:

- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the facilities' residential areas;
- Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment & dining areas;
- Handle laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding and distribution of linen and resident clothing;
- Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices according to legislation.

**What you can bring to the team**

You are an enthusiastic reliable worker who enjoys being a team player and can also work autonomously. You will be passionate about cleaning and committed to providing excellent customer service to our residents. Working in a fast-pace environment you will have compassion for the elderly and are passionate about maintaining an environment suitable to their needs.

Ideally you will have:

- Certificate II in Cleaning Operations - desirable but not essential;
- Experience in operating equipment associated with cleaning is desirable;
- Experience working within the Aged Care industry will be highly regarded;
- Current National Police Certificate.

- Under Churches of Christ policy and/or the applicable public health directions, team members are required to be vaccinated for Covid-19.
