As a Factory Foreman at Crown Shopfitters, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.

**Responsibilities**:
Supervise and motivate a team of factory workers.

Allocate tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Resolve conflicts and maintain a positive working environment.

Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures.

Oversee the production process from start to finish.

Monitor production schedules and ensure deadlines are met.

Optimize workflow and identify areas for improvement.

Maintain accurate production records.

Manage inventory of materials and supplies.

Ensure all products meet Crown Shopfitters' high quality standards.

Conduct regular quality checks and inspections.

Identify and address quality issues promptly.

Implement and maintain quality control procedures.

Oversee the maintenance and repair of factory equipment.

Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently.

Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance.

Troubleshoot production equipment issues.

Enforce all safety protocols and regulations.

Conduct regular safety meetings and training.

Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Oversee the receiving and dispatching of materials.

Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.

Manage material waste and optimize material usage.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a Factory Foreman or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Experience within the shopfitting industry, or related industries such as cabinet making, or carpentry is highly regarded.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with production scheduling and inventory management.

Relevant trade qualifications are desirable.
