**About the role**

Seeking experienced, dedicated, and empathetic support workers for our brand-new accommodations in Ivanhoe, Victoria. Become part of our team at this five-star facility, where we provide tailored one-to-one support to clients dealing with AOD, mental health, complex behavior and intellectual disabilities. **What are we looking for?**
- ** Minimum Certificate IV in AOD/Mental Health or equivalent qualification**:

- ** 1+ years' prior experience**: Providing one-to-one support in AOD, mental health, community services, or forensic sectors, with a focus on complex clients.
- ** Experience with diverse challenges**: Supporting individuals dealing with substance use, mental illness, intellectual disability, and homelessness.
- ** Non-government sector experience**: Familiarity with AOD and/or MH environments.
- ** Strong communication skills**: Proficient in report and case note writing.
- ** Resilience and adaptability**: Thriving in challenging and high-pressure environments.
- ** Legal knowledge**: Understanding of relevant legislation like the Mental Health Act and Privacy Act.
- ** Recovery-focused approach**: Solid grasp of harm minimization strategies for substance abuse treatment.

**Mandatory Requirement -**
- Cert IV in AOD/Mental health or equivalent
- Valid Victorian Driver’s License
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Manual Handling certificate
- Medication Administration certificate
- Victorian Working with Children’s Check
- National Police Check (obtained within last 6 months)
