**Mechanical Designer**

**The company**:
Having serviced the coal industry for over 50 years our partner is in the middle of an expansion that needs support in the design concept of their involvement in the longwall industry.

**The role**:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our partner as a Mechanical Designer. As the designer, you will work with a team of engineers to come up with new design concepts for longwall projects. You will demonstrate your ability to show your 3D modelling skills using Autodesk inventor.

**About you**:
To be considered for the role you will need to have:

- 3D modeling experience with Inventor or equivalent
- 5+ years of Heavy industry experience (longwall preferred but not essential)
- Having the ability to produce quality designs in a efficient and cost effective approach.
- Has a strong belief in team moral and has the ability to communicate effectively
- Great Time management skills
- Demonstrated good oral and written communication
- Ability to work independently and part of a design team.

**Benefits**:

- Above industry average Salary at $110,000 - $150,000 depending on experience
- Car is able to negotiated in Package.
- Hybrid working arrangement is encouraged
- Computer and software provided.
