**Maintenance Manager**

We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to work across our two sites: Ramsay Surgical Centre Glenferrie and Ramsay Clinic Albert Rd in this **Permanent Part Time **opportunity (30 hours per fortnight).

**The Opportunity**

As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for the engineering and maintenance management of two facilities within our private hospital network. This split site role will see you managing all aspects of preventative maintenance and keeping up with current legislations

This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your extensive facility management skills to ensure that our buildings, plant and equipment are maintained to appropriate regulations and standards.

You will be responsible for the preventative and adhoc facility maintenance requirements which are completed by both in-house personnel and contracted service providers. Integral to your success will be proven ability to manage competing requirements, meet deadlines and engage with stakeholders to achieve required outcomes.

You will be able to show your skills in managing both older and newer buildings and plant to meet required standards and budgets. A number of local developments and plant upgrade projects are in the pipeline and your leadership in these will be a challenging but rewarding opportunity to support our clinics teams to ensure that we can continue to provide the highest levels of care to our patients.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Trade or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Qualifications
- Experience in commercial or hospital facility management, including development and implementation of preventive maintenance plans
- Previous experience in a maintenance/leadership role
- Demonstrative knowledge of building codes and legislative adherence
- Proven experience in external contractor management, including negotiation of maintenance contracts
- Experience managing defect and warranty periods
- Demonstrated understanding of OH&S requirements & accreditation/certification processes including continuous improvement principles
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage stakeholders
- Demonstrated problem solving and time management skills
- Previous hospital maintenance/facilities experience is highly desirable
- You will have CAPEX management and budgeting experience

**Remuneration**:
On offer is a **Full-Time Equivalent** salary ranging from **$90,000 - $110,000 plus superannuation** based on experience level and qualifications

**About Our Two Sites**

Ramsay Surgical Centre Glenferrie

Ramsay Surgical Centre Glenferrie opened in 2004 and is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care Australia's largest private hospital operator. Ramsay Surgical Centre Glenferrie specialises in providing care for private short-stay patients undergoing orthopaedic and specialist surgery. The hospital’s purpose-designed day stay area has 12 beds. There are a further 19 beds for patients requiring overnight care. The hospital has three operating theatres with modern equipment and a purpose-built day surgery facility. There is also onsite Radiology.

Ramsay Clinic Albert Rd

A standalone mental health facility, Ramsay Clinic Albert Rd is made up of 128 inpatient beds for adults, young persons and seniors, day programs, community, and outreach programs. The Clinic offers ECT and TMS treatments, an addictions service, mood disorders programs and acute psychiatric intervention.
