Orange Sky is the world's-first free mobile laundry and shower service provided to people experiencing homelessness. We offer a platform for everyday Australian’s to connect by creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or who feel disconnected from the community.

**The Role**

We love sharing stories. Over the last nine years, we’ve _positively connected_ thousands of people simply by sharing stories and starting conversations.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this Parental Leave contract (12 months) role will be responsible for providing support to the marketing and fundraising teams, using brand and marketing knowledge on a broad range of marketing programs and practices to support our goals of _positively connecting communities_.

In a nutshell, the Brand and Communications Specialist will:
**Make things happen**

You'll will drive brand awareness, acquisition and retention amongst new audiences through key content, projects and marketing and communications campaigns to support the delivery of business objectives. You’ll ensure projects are completed within agreed timeframes, and be heavy on processes, yet fluid in your approach to getting things done - curveballs don’t discourage you, because you’ve mastered the art of mapping the steps involved to achieve targets that lead to an outcome.

Leading a brand and communications strategy will come naturally to you. You have an innate ability to use storytelling to produce communications that align with our iconic brand.. Encouraging and channeling creativity into a strategic, structured approach will be key in this role.

We need someone who can think outside the box, and understand our unique environment. Storytelling is your superpower, and you’ll have proven experience leading a brand and communication strategy that works across all audiences to get the desired campaign outcomes.
