**Suncare Support Worker - what's involved in the role?**
This is a rewarding community based role where you will be supported by engaged managers and have ongoing support. We are seeking three Permanent Part-Time Support Workers to provide support to our customers on the Gold Coast.
Hours of work for these roles are rostered between:

- 8am to 4pm (contract 60 hours per fortnight)
- 8am to 3pm (contract 50 hours per fortnight)
- 7am to 2pm (contract 50 hours per fortnight)

You will be provided with a set roster and there may also be the opportunity to gain additional hours depending on your availability and operational requirements.
The role of a Suncare Support Worker actively supports the individual needs of aged people who are living at home, either independently or with family. No two days are the same with our customers and may include delivering personal care, household domestic assistance (cleaning bathrooms, mopping, dusting), meal preparation, accompanying them on shopping trips, appointments, community activities, providing general companionship, and helping them build social networks.

For this position you will be required to be physically fit, hold an open Queensland Driver's licence and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured. A National Police Check and CPR and First Aid certificates are also required in this position. You will have the ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision.
