The Brain Disorders Program (BDP) is a state-wide service for adults who experience the dual disabilities of acquired brain injury (ABI) or neurodegenerative disease and psychiatric disorders.

The Community Brain Disorders Assessment and Treatment Service (CBDATS) is the community component of the BDP within the Mental Health Division of Austin Health.

An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experienced** Mental Health Clinician **to join the CBDATS team.

We are seeking a neuropsychologist/occupational therapist/social worker/registered psychiatric nurses who has an interest in working with adults who have significant cognitive and behavioural difficulties following an ABI and a mental illness. This is an interesting and varied position offering a unique opportunity to utilise your specialist assessment and consultation skills, network with stakeholders, families and carers and participate in education and quality improvement activities. As the Mental Health Clinician you will have an active role in intake referral process. You will be working with a multidisplinary clinical team providing direct and secondary consultation to specialist services, clients, their families and support services in the community.

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate/Key responsibilities as outlined in the Position Description.
