**About the Role**

Join our team as a Clinical Data Leader. This will be a rewarding role in healthcare where you can engage in meaningful work and where there is never a dull moment. This is a temporary position for a **maternity leave cover** with a hybrid work arrangement. This role will be best suited to applicants with a clinical background; perhaps you are a NUM, ADoN or CNC, CNE, CNS looking for a change for 9+ month contract.
The Clinical Data Leader will:

- Manage a team of two Data Analysts.
- Provide ongoing operational management of the data collection process and undertake data collection of clinical and non-clinical data reporting to internal and external stakeholders including NSW Health, Health Roundtable and ACHS.
- Provide project management support towards the implementation of changes in internal and external reporting.
- We are looking for someone with:

- Relevant work experience in an acute setting as a NUM or senior leader within an acute setting OR experience as Health Information Management, Data Analytics Management in an acute hospital setting.
- A broad-base knowledge of clinical conditions to be able to undertake, lead and educate others on clinical audits.
- Intermediate Excel skills with the confidence to upgrade to a more advanced skill level.
- Demonstrated understanding of healthcare performance and quality indicators
- Demonstrated project management, change management, planning and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to lead a team
- Ability to work effectively, independently and harmoniously within a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder management
- Superior prioritisation skills
- Organisation skills and ability to meet objectives / timelines
