Full Job Description
Dhillon Networks company operating in the telecommunications and electronics equipment installation

We are currently recruiting civil labourers and cable hauling roles to work on telecommunications projects and the NBN N2P project in Geelong and Melbourne areas. This is a great opportunity for enthusiastic and driven individuals to join an expanding team with a continual workload ahead.

Experience in prior civil work is preferred and further training will be provided. However, ideally, you will have experience working in the telecommunications and building and construction industry, with knowledge and an experience in Telstra/NBN pit and pipe networks. You must be able to work in a team and/or independently.

Key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:
Labourer (all-rounders):

- Installing telecommunications pit and pipe
- Conduit laying and pit install
- Rod, rope and Dig down and repair Blockages in conduits
- Read and interpret plans etc
- Installation of telco pits new & over existing infrastructure
- Using hand and power tools
- Cable hauling
- Adhering to safety measures

Required:

- Driver's Licence and transport.
- Construction white card
- Police Check within the last 12 months
- Physically fit and reliable
- Full-Time work rights

Desirable
- locate and protect underground assets.
- Traffic Management (level 2)
- 1st Aid/CPR (Desirable)
- NBN Experience (enAble)
- Asbestos Awareness Ticket (Desirable)
- B Class non-friable Asbestos Removal (preferred)
- Pit and Pipe Underground Construction
