**Description**:
Job summary

Martinus are seeking an Environmental Manager to support the Moorebank Intermodal Terminal Project. You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and promoting excellence in project environmental matters, delivering environmental programmes and initiatives, and providing advice to the project team. While also ensuring adherence across the project with relevant environmental legislation, regulations and contractual obligations.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Provide support to the Project Manager and wider project team, ensuring the project complies with contractual environmental requirements, risks and obligations
Provide expert knowledge and skills to facilitate risk control and to promote a positive environmental culture on the project, including the delivery of training, toolboxes and coaching
Conduct environmental assessments, inspections and audits to assess environmental performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Undertake incident reporting, analysis, and investigation for environmental incidents, near misses and non-conformances
Ensure environmental compliance with sub-contractors and work activities
Maintain a good working knowledge of environmental legislation, regulations and industry practices and ensure that statutory requirements are not breached

**Skills and Experiences**:
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Management/Engineering or equivalent
Relevant experience working in Environmental Management within civil or rail construction
Demonstrated knowledge and experience across a wide range of environmental functional activities
Strong communication, coaching, problem solving and planning skills
Up to date knowledge of Environmental Legislation
