**Description**:
Become the new leader of a well-established team to maintain the outstanding picturesque grounds of our Village of Friends?

Our gardens are always a talking point and very much loved by our residents.

This full-time role is responsible for contributing to the well-being of residents of BallyCara by managing the upkeep and uplift of the garden facilities to ensure the grounds within BallyCara look amazing

We are looking for someone that is comfortable leading and managing the Grounds staff to ensure the team always delivers service excellence. You will be a master at planning and scheduling the day-to-day activities and work allocation for the Facilities Grounds Team,

For us, using your exceptional horticultural knowledge you will carry out a range of horticultural and grounds maintenance to ensure work is to an exceptional standard.

**Skills and Experiences**:
Essential

Minimum - Certificate 3 in Horticulture
Demonstrated experience in supervising a team
Demonstrated management of large site
Demonstrated ability to support team members in achieving goals, especially during busy and/or difficult working periods.
Strong organisational and time management skills, ability to deal effectively with changing demands in workload.
Sound interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to a wide range of people.
Excellent understanding of risk management, assessment and minimizing risk.
Ability to perform physical task demands.
Great team player with a friendly and positive attitude.
Possession of a “C” Class Queensland Driver’s Licence.

Desirable

3+ years of horticultural experience
Flu vaccination

Position Requirements

National Police Check clearance which allows working unsupervised
COVID-19 vaccination
