**Disability Support Worker - Yarra Valley and Eastern Region**

**Recovery Options** is a boutique registered NDIS provider, set up to bridge the gap between large style corporate organisations and those wanting a more personalised service.

Recovery Options is the Premier National Disability Insurance Scheme provider servicing the Yarra Valley and surrounds services areas in the Outer East of Melbourne such as Warburton, Launching Place, Lilydale, Chirnside Park, Bayswater, Boronia etc

We seek suitably qualified disability support workers and or mental health support workers to assist clients with a variety of needs from personal care, to social and community participation, transport and short term accommodation.

Shifts can range between 2 hours to 10 hours depending on the client. You may see several clients in a day.

Recovery Options strives to create a best fit and lifestyle solution for its staff in terms of matching skill set and proximity to workers home and strives on creating a world class culture.

Support and clinical supervision is provided.

**Ideal previous experience would include but not limited to**:

- Disability support worker
- Personal care assistant
- Health field workers
- Nursing
- Community support worker

**Mandatory**:

- First Aid/CPR or prepared to obtain before employment
- NDIS Screening Check
- NDIS Orientation Module
- Working with Children’s Check (employment purpose) or prepared to obtain upon employment.
- Other prerequisites may be required or discussed before interview

**Desired but not mandatory**:
Cert III or Cert IV in Disability
Home and Community Care Certificate or Child related industry or equivalent
Cert III or Cert IV in Aged Care
or above
