The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Orderly to join our Emergency Department (ED) at Cabrini Malvern, on a full-time basis.
We offer a supportive environment where the team work closely to achieve best patient outcomes and provide high standards of care.
The applicant needs to be a caring person who is passionate about helping others, as a large focus of the orderly role involves patient transport and interaction.
Key responsibilities- The ability to work the following shifts - 8am to 4pm, and 4pm to midnight.- Transporting patients and equipment around the ED and hospital-wide.- Providing support and assistance, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other clinical staff.- Provide a high level of customer service to patients, visitors and staff.- Contribute to the team, cooperate and communicate.- Performs cleaning duties & maintains cleanliness of equipment.
About you
You will also have- Flexible working availability as your hours will be scheduled over a 7-day roster.- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.- Ability to take direction.- Sound communication skills, proficient in written and spoken English.- Ability to work in a physically demanding role.
