We are currently looking for a **Gardener/ Maintenance Officer** to join the supportive and friendly team at **Peninsula Grange Retirement Community** located in **Mornington** on a **Part time** basis (21 hours per week). The Gardener/ Maintenance Officer will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of Peninsula Grange Retirement Village working in accordance with health and safety guidelines.

**What you will be doing**:

- Providing a range of general maintenance and gardening duties.
- Delivering a high level of service to residents, visitors, contractors and staff at all times.
- Ensuring the living environment within the Retirement Community is presented to a high standard that is safe for residents.
- Working within health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both residents and staff, reporting hazards where appropriate.

**What we are looking for -**
- Knowledge and understanding of OHS requirements ensuring that safety of residents and staff is paramount at all times.
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite products, asset management software and ordering systems.
- Previous experience in a Retirement Village/ aged care or hotel environment - highly desirable.
- A service and solution focussed approach with exposure to a similar role.
- Contractor and Stakeholder management experience.
- Relevant trade qualification and First Aid Certificate
- Fully vaccinated for COVID 19
