Our client is one of the leading brand and largest providers of Gluten Free manufacturer, based and produced in Northern Sydney, Australia. A very rare opportunity has become available for an **experienced Packing Team Leader** to join their ever-expanding team.

**About the role**

In this challenging, dynamic, and fast paced, “hands-on” role reporting to the Production Manager, and your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Overseeing a team of packers, operating equipment in a factory and preparing items for distribution.
- Supervising a team to meet production schedules and distribution timelines, ensuring all machinery runs smoothly and assisting in the packaging and quality of items.
- Supervision of a packing team of up to 10 staff
- Operate complex equipment, maintaining a continuous flow of product from production to warehouse/logistics
- Packing line management, equipment calibration and monitoring
- Preparation and completion of accurate records
- Cleaning and housekeeping
- Commitment to quality assurance, and completion of quality checks as required

**About you**

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate the following
- Manufacturing experience and/or prior food-related experience is essential.
- Have a supervisory experience of a small team minimum of 10.
- Exposure to HACCP and SQF businesses and requirements
- Strong attention to detail and consciousness of the quality of products
- Flexibility to work on rostered shifts (AM/AFT/PM) depending on business requirements
- Physically fit, big, strong, and capable of lifting 5kg - 25kg bags
- A licence and own transport are best suited due to limited public transport.
- Unrestricted working rights with Australia

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $22.06 - $29.38 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hornsby, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
