**JOIN OUR GROWING KITCHEN TEAM**

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Assistant to join our award-winning food business. This position is ideal for a well-presented person looking for work based in Hornsby.

2-3 days per week Monday - Thursday available between 8am - 3pm
- no weekends or nights.

Position requires a team-oriented person to assist in our artisan kitchen. In the cleaning, preparation, making packing and labelling of pâté, terrines and fruit pastes.

The position will involve washing up, packing and labelling of product and general cleaning duties, whilst operating within a food safety licenced, manufacturing kitchen.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Must be able to read, understand and speak English fluently.

Dedicated with strong work ethic & ‘can-do’ attitude

Punctual and reliable

Exceptional personal presentation & hygiene

Able to follow instruction and be responsible for given tasks once trained

QUALIFICATIONS AN ADVANTAGE

Experience in commercial kitchens

Background in food manufacturing/preparation and/or commercial kitchen facility

Food Safety Certificate a benefit

Weekday shifts available 8am start time. No weekend work.

Training offered to the successful applicant

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hornsby, NSW 2077: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)
