**Full Time Social Worker**

KNC is a not-for-profit Aged Care and Disability Services provider based in Northern Sydney. We have provided quality services to older community members and people with a disability for over 40 years. We are dedicated to enriching the lives of our clients, supporting them to live their best lives while maintaining independence at home.

Due to expansion we have an opportunity for a full time Social Worker highly motivated, previous experience in aged or community care will be advantageous.

**Key responsibilities of the position include**:
As a social worker, you advocate for others, be they young or old. You’ll work with clients from every station in life, and sometimes dire economic backdrops, to ease them through transitions, hardships, and mentally tough times. You’ll be the person who assists them in finding the proper resources to get the care or supplement they need to sustain a certain quality of life. You may also be the link between people and caregivers in the health and psychology professions.

- Observe client behaviour, assess needs and create treatment strategies
- Diagnose psychological, behavioural and emotional disorders
- Develop and put treatment plans in place
- Consult with doctors, therapists and medical professionals
- Administer social service programs
- Instruct clients’ families during treatment

**Attributes and Skills are Required**
- Fully registered
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Fully vaccinated
- Solid communication skills - including the ability to convey detailed patient information to colleagues
- Teamwork - the ability to work efficiently within a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: No less than 2 per week

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
