As the Assistant Security Officer you will be responsible to the Unit Security Officer (USO) for the day to day operation of security related activities including:

- Maintaining the Unit Security Register.
- Managing the Building Security Roster.
- Conducting security clearance checks.
- Delivering training and security briefs.
- Processing building access requests.
- Conducting key audits.
- Providing advice on a range of security matters.
- Conducting routine facility inspections.

**About our Team**
The Assistant Security Officer role sits within the security section of the Enabling Services (ES) Team. ES is one of five Management Units within the ACEASPO and is responsible for a wide range of services which support the SPO from commercial services, to facilities, WHS and security services.

The Assistant Security Officer is a key position within ACEASPO and the wider ACEA Enterprise. This role directly contributes to the effectiveness and efficiency of security within ACEASPO on a daily basis by focussing on best practice security management supported by streamlined and relevant practices, processes and procedures.

You will be self-motivated and outcomes focussed with at least 2 years of demonstrated Administration and/or Security experience in either the public or private sector.

Your effective verbal and written communication skills will be applied to engage with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and levels of seniority, and contribute towards a positive and collaborative team environment.

You will be trustworthy, reliable and have experience in prioritising and delivering a diverse range of administrative tasks with competing deadlines.
