**The Role**

To ensure our guests experience a peaceful, valuable and positive stay with us, we are searching for a Maintenance/ Grounds Assistant to join our Facilities team to assist with maintaining the grounds and residence.

The primary focus of the role is to assist in the upkeep of the property, as well as basic general maintenance of the buildings, appliances and plant equipment as required. Additionally, this role will be required to perform minor repairs (within qualifications) as well as perform general cleaning tasks such as the cleaning of verandas and windows etc.
- Knowledge and experience in general building maintenance would be advantageous.
- Ability to perform, basic general maintenance tasks within various areas across the property, within qualifications, as directed by the Facilities Manager.
- Be self motivated with an ability to work independently.
- Physically fit to be able to perform various tasks of the role e.g. lifting and carrying heavy objects
- Good verbal communication, fault finding and problem solving skills
- Punctual and reliable
- A car licence and own transport
- Full Australian work rights
