**Primary Function: To maintain cleanliness of Service Workshop and LiftRite premises and to clean and prepare machinery for display and sale; and on completion of service / repair to customer and Hire Department machines**

**Scope of Duties**:

- **Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained in the yard and surrounding building areas - clean, well-organised and safe.**
- **On a daily basis;**
- **Clean yard perimeter, including fence-line**
- **Tidy up machine display areas**
- **Relocate / put away items in the yard that are incorrectly placed**
- **Tidy Sales area, move new and used equipment to correct areas**
- **Tidy up Hire fleet area, move equipment to correct area**
- **Clean under front and side verandas**
- **Ensure Sales machines are checked monthly and run up as per roster**
- **Assist Workshop Supervisor as and when directed e.g. assist with workshop cleaning and house keeping**
- **Prepare for sale and maintain the cleanliness of machinery on display in the showroom and the display yard, including full wash, spray and chamois and vacuum**
- **Clean and prepare machinery for service technicians to carryout service / repair**
- **On completion of machinery service / repair, clean and prepare machinery for return to Hire Department / collection by customer**
- **Work in compliance with LiftRite workplace policies and procedures**
- **Comply with Occupational Safety and Health Legislation and LiftRite instructions, policies and procedures;**
- **Take reasonable care to ensure personal safety and health at work and that of other persons in the work place in accordance with LiftRite’s policies and procedures**
- **Observe all safe working practices as directed by the supervisor and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as and when provided**
- **Report ALL accidents, incidents and hazardous situations arising in the course of work**
- **Advise non-conformance of procedures and provide solutions to non-compliance**
- **Other duties as directed**
