**Quick overview of the role**

Working as part of the Production team in our Capalaba branch, you will operate all machinery (as required), produce goods, preparing and building loads and ensure that all loads are quality inspected and tagged prior to loading while committing to your safety and that of the team. You will receive thorough training and support to learn all aspects of the Production Operator role, and any future career development opportunities within the business. We are excited to offer a permanent role to a reliable and dedicated Production Operator with a willingness to learn, where monthly bonuses are up for grabs

**What will you be doing?**
- Operate all steel manufacturing machinery safely
- Prepare and inspect product, bundle loads for delivery and ensure production requirements are met
- Performing machinery maintenance and cleaning
- Successfully contribute to a safe working environment while maintaining the highest workplace safety standards
- Gain experience using an overhead gantry crane and drive forklifts (training will be provided)
- A commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of the team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new things
- Good communication skills
- Proactive and organised
- Respect others and embrace a diverse and inclusive workforce
- Forklift license and gantry crane experience highly desired
