Take a leading position within a global business as the Accounts Manager and own the finance function.
**Your Opportunity**
If you're looking to join a business that operates on a global basis and take responsibility for the accounting function within a stable and profitable organisation, then this role is for you.
They operate in over 30 countries and their product / offering has supported major projects worldwide in infrastructure and construction. As a group their turnover is more than $1bn.
This role is hands-on within a small finance function where you will be able to take on a broad range of duties - if you enjoy a role that offers you variety then you can expect to be involved with financial and management reporting, financial analysis, budgets, planning, managing cash flow, forecasting, fixed asset management, reconciliations of project costs, FBT, GL management, and EOM / EOFY processes.
You'll be crucial in reporting to the European parent company and as such you will utilize your IFRS knowledge to ensure that you're a success.
You'll also manage one person who operates in a more transactional role and provide them with support and development.
This position offers you complete autonomy with broad control of the finance function, as well as the opportunity to build relationships with international partners.
You'll be a fully qualified accountant (CA/CPA) who has good experience of IFRS, as well as being very competent with Excel. You'll also be comfortable working within a small finance function and taking the lead position.
