As a Principal Research Operations Lead, you are passionate about research and want to work together on developing a more streamlined and effective approach to our generative and evaluative research practices across our 60 product teams and partners.
**Your day-to-day**
- Work across the Design, Product Management and Engineering practices to evolve how we collectively do research, enabling an evidence-based and customer value driven design and delivery approach
- Ensure our research activities help us to meet our customer, accessibility, legal and privacy obligations and become the most customer centric government in the world
- Define best practice for our inclusive customer recruitment and oversee enterprise spend to ensure good return on investment on research spend
- Mature a single view of customer through a central insights repository
- Drive a capability uplift and foster a cross-functional culture of learning and experimentation
- Build research practice alliances and rapport for an evidence-based approach across our department and other government agencies
**On your first day you will have**
- Expertise and strong current experience in defining and driving research activities across product teams at scale
- Proficient in different qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Excellent understanding and practical experience of different research techniques across the whole product lifecycle from discovery to delivery and beyond.
