**About the Role**:
This is a full-time, ongoing position with a salary of **$78,000 per annum**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations of the retail butcher shop
- Manage, train, and supervise a team of retail and butchery staff
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries or complaints
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and place orders with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales
- Analyse sales figures, financial records, and performance metrics
- Ensure store presentation and product displays are maintained to a high standard
- Prepare staff rosters and manage payroll reporting
- Liaise with business owners and report on business performance

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a retail management role (butcher or food retail environment highly desirable)
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team
- Strong understanding of stock control and customer service principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and food safety requirements
- Relevant qualification in business, retail, or management is preferred

Pay: $78,000.00 per year
