**Your Empowering Role as Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator**

**This role will be empowered to manage their own projects and roster, giving them the autonomy to thrive in the role. Reporting directly to the managing director, you'll oversee all facilities maintenance, repairs, and new rejuvenation and refits projects across our 26 stores around QLD and NSW, ensuring the highest standards and efficiency.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Utilise your organisational skills to coordinate repairs and maintenance requisitions, ensuring tasks are completed promptly to minimise disruptions to store operations.**
- **Foster strong relationships with store personnel, providing regular updates and support throughout the maintenance process to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.**
- **Drive cost-saving initiatives by sourcing competitive quotes from suppliers and effectively managing project budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently without compromising quality.**
- **Oversee large-scale projects such as store fit outs and refits, demonstrating your leadership and project management prowess to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.**

**What You Bring**:

- **Previous experience in shopfitting, facilities coordination, project management, maintenance, and repair coordination, demonstrating your ability to lead and guide operational teams.**
- **A trade qualification in Carpentry or a relevant discipline, would be ideal, showcasing your technical expertise and hands-on profile.**
- **Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.**
- **Exceptional communication skills and a customer-centric mindset, enabling you to build rapport with stakeholders and deliver outstanding service.**
- **A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, allowing you to overcome challenges with creativity and confidence managing your day-to-day with autonomy.**
- **A commitment to safety and compliance, with a sound understanding of building regulations and safety standards.**
- **Flexibility to travel (FIFO/DIDO) between company locations to attend projects as required and planned.**
