**About the position**

The Library Technical Services Officer - Marketing and Promotions will work within a team to deliver both customer services and technical services to internal and external customers as well as develop and maintain the Library website and social media platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide circulation services, including item loans/returns, new memberships, and customer support.
- Assist with research enquiries, reader advisory, and local history services.
- Support the planning and delivery of library programs, events, and staff training.
- Maintain library records, statistics, and databases.
- Contribute to acquisitions, cataloguing, and collection maintenance.
- Manage promotional content for the library’s website, social media, and online tools.

**About you**
- Diploma of Library and Information Services (Library Technical Studies) or other qualifications recognised by the Australian Library and Information Association.
- Current Class C Driver’s license and ability to drive a council vehicle.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver small projects.
- Demonstrated ability to use an Integrated Library Management System.

**What we offer**
- Permanent part time, 21 hours per week
- Hourly Rate from $_39.2554_ to $_42.3603_ per hour (depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus 12% superannuation
