**The Store**:
With easy access off the Metropolitan Ring Road, BBQs & Outdoor has become a destination store for all things barbecue and outdoor living. Our store has been servicing the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne for more than 20 years Retailing a range of well-known, quality brands representing products such as barbecues, umbrellas, outdoor furniture, fridges, heating and more

**The Position**:
This is an ongoing position. Your responsibilities will cover all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the store, including:

- General Administration
- Store Presentation & Merchandising
- Warehousing (accepting stock and dispatch of customer orders)
- Being involved with Seasonal Cooking Demonstrations and Events
- Online sales processing (picking and packing of customer orders)
- Be Involved - once you’ve learnt the ropes, share your ideas with us Whether its new product or process improvement, we’re all ears

**About you**:
Passionate about barbecue and food in general? Then this is the job for you

Those that have been most successful in this position have had a genuine interest in cooking & barbecue It is the perfect opportunity for you to turn your knowledge and skills into sales You need to have a focus for sales and customer service, a can-do attitude and not be afraid to jump in and get the job done.

Whilst previous sales experience will be looked upon favourably, having the right attitude and a love for barbecue is more important You’ll need to be a self-starter and have the ability to work autonomously. Full product and process training will be provided if you’re not intimately familiar with our product range.

The store opens seasonally 7 days a week (excluding landmark public holidays), so availability to work alternating weekends and some public holidays is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 10 - 38 per week

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (preferred)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
