**One Tree Altona North Children’s Service** is a big part of the local community. And we’re always adjusting what we do to make sure our programs reflect the needs of the community and children. The result is an integrated early childhood service that feels like home, with some educators working here for 15+ years. At Altona North Children's Service, there is a nursery room, toddler room, pre-kindergarten room, activity group, integrated kindergarten, and a sessional kindergarten

**What you’ll bring**
- Diploma in early childhood
- Strong organisation & time management skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in building successful relationships with staff, families, and community.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and efficiencies in service delivery.
- Knowledge of relevant state and commonwealth laws and regulations.

**What you’ll do**
- Provide supervision and direction to reporting staff, ensuring the day-to-day operations of the service upheld to One Tree’s standard.
- Actively create partnerships with families, reporting staff and the community.
- Oversee and ensure the workplace operates within WHS requirements and duty of care of children and their families is maintained.
- Manage administrative duties for the service
- Support on the floor to cover breaks & programming time
- Act as the director of the service in the absence of the director.
- Be a Responsible Person at the service.
