Troocoo are currently partnered with highly regarded energy client, to assist with finding their next Finance Officer to join their team on a 6 month temporary contract to start ASAP, with potential to move into a permanent position.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer with a strong background in Accounts Payable and SAP, who will be responsible for payments of accounts and claims, ensuring timely payments are received, processing of high volume of invoices and claims through SAP, managing credit accounts and reporting on invoices requiring approval whilst collaborating with internal team and stakeholders.

Duties include but not limited to:

- Ensure timely payments in accordance with client payment terms and completing compliance
- Processing of high volume invoices by conducting three-way purchase order matching
- Foreign currency invoices and associated accounting transactions
- Provide payment run cash flow estimate and end execute bi-weekly payment runs
- Conduct client analysis, follow up on out of date items and resolve issues.
- Review and update policies as needed
- Address complex issues and provide advice as needed
- Update client records
- Work with KPIs and team goals
- Build meaningful relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Support colleagues as needed

Desired experience and preferred skillset:

- Experience in a similar role with Accounts Payable and SAP
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to pick up new systems and skills
- Ability to work under pressure with high volume
- High attention to detail
- Exception communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively with competing priorities
