A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Events Manager to join the marketing and business development team of a prestigious global law firm, based from their Melbourne office on a 6 month contract.

Reporting to a highly regarded leader, you will play an integral role in the planning and execution of key events in line with the firm's overall strategy of building and maintaining key client relationships. From intimate boardroom lunches, CLE sessions, right through to 500 person events, you will be responsible for ensuring the experience runs seamlessly.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Developing event and client entertainment concepts and proposals;
- Organising catering, venues, activities, entertainment;
- Preparing invitations and managing RSVPs;
- Event set up and pack up and hosting debrief sessions with key event stakeholders to review to ROI;
- Management of one direct report;
To be successful, you will present with a minimum of 5 years' experience working in an events role within either a professional services or financial services environment. You will have a proven track record in developing and executing multiple event and marketing initiatives. Tertiary qualified in marketing or events, you will be a polished and articulate professional with strong communication skills and a warm and engaging disposition.
