**Description**:
**The Role**:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Permanent part time Catering Assistant at our aged care residence in North Sydney.
**Roster**: Total hours per week - 21- 24
Position 1 - 23.5 hours
Monday - 7am -2.00pm
- tuesday 3pm
- 7.30pm-wednesday - 3pm -7.30pm-thursday - 4pm
- 7.30pm-friday 3pm
- 7.30pm
Position 2 - 20 hours
Wednesday 7am - 2.00pm - thursday 3pm
- 7.30pm
- friday 3pm
- 7.30pm
- saturday 3pm
- 7.30pm
Position 3 - 23.5 hours
Monday - 2.00pm -7.30pm
- tuesday 7.30am -1.30pm and 4pm -7.30pm
- saturday - 3pm
- 7.30pm
- sunday - 3pm
- 7.30pm
Position 4 - 21.5 hours
Tuesday - 2.00pm 7.30pm
- Wednesday 2.00pm -7.30pm - Thursday - 2.00pm -7.30pm - sunday 7am-2.00pm
**What This Role Involves**:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Assisting the broader team as required
Prepare and present texture modified foods
**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
