**We are seeking a person to oversee the implementation of the Health and Safety Work Management Systems (HSWMS) at St Brendan's, including**:

- Implementing communication and consultation initiatives and awareness of WHS requirements
- Assisting in the investigation of HSW issues or incidents for St Brendan's
- Assisting in the development and review of Health and Safety requirements and associated documentation for St Brendan's
- Consulting with management and stakeholders on their schools (or office) WHS performance
- Assist in the identification and management of risk
- Assist in health and safety consultation activities
- Conduct and assist workers to conduct regular health and safety inspections and risk assessments
- Investigate health and safety incidents and dangerous events to prevent recurrence.

**To be eligible to be considered for this role you will**:

- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
