We’re looking for multiple **Mechanical Fitters**to join our high performing **Modernisation**team in **Melbourne, Victoria.**

No two days are the same as you manage the equipment installation of KONE’s elevator products, across low-rise housing through to the world’s tallest skyscrapers.

**What will you be doing?**
- Completing the full installation of new elevators, escalators and auto walks from commencement to commissioning.
- Manages the equipment installation environment during installation activities
- Manages on-site communication with the customer for day-to-day installation and logístical activities
- Responsible for reporting installation progress to the installation supervisor
- Carrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards
- Carries out the installation according to pre-determined method instruction and schedule

**What are we looking for?**
- 2+ years mechanical experience - lift industry experience preferred
- Certificate 3 in mechanical fitting/fabrication engineering desired
- Trade tickets desired - dogging, advanced rigging
- Motivated and self
- starter who can manage workload and competing priorities
- Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality
- A customer service mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
