Lead and mentor a category-based team of procurement professionals, ensuring an efficient and effective environment that facilitates quality services and delivers value for money outcomes. - Coordinate and manage significant procurement projects in cooperation with key stakeholders, ensuring that risk, probity and transparency requirements are addressed. Administer complex contracts in collaboration with Contract Managers in accordance with the principles of the Queensland Government Contract Management Framework. - Provide specialist procurement/contract and commercial advice relating to procurement matters. - Prepare reports, for internal and external stakeholders, collaboratively develop, implement, and maintain systems and processes to enable enhanced forecasting and management of workload for the team, including appropriate resource allocation - Maintain up to date knowledge of contract management practices and contemporary acquisition practices, including their relationship with relevant government policies and initiatives. - Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships and feedback mechanisms with internal and external clients, vendors, and staff to represent procurement services and ensure responsiveness to current and future needs.
