One of Australia’s leading resources and mining companies is offering an exciting opportunity for an Operational Readiness Lead

**Your new role**

You will lead all aspects of the Operational Readiness activities for the deployment of remote dozer technology across its operations. You will build the internal remote dozer capabilities to deliver and support a step-change improvement in safety for high-risk dozer operations.

Throughout the role you will:

- Manage the development and creation of an Operational Readiness Plan, inclusive of the operator / site training program, change and organisational management activities and transition and handover
- Lead the development of new and updated site operating procedures relevant for remote dozer activities
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to mobilise the people, technology, and processes to ensure the remote dozer projects are delivered on time, within budget to achieve the site safety requirements
- Lead, monitor and review HSE compliance and performance improvement initiatives and interventions as required through Field Leadership activities
- Manage OEMs and dealers to ensure a high standard of support is received

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or relevant trades experience is desirable
- Previous coal mining experience, specifically working on remote dozer or complex mining technology is highly advantageous
- Show initiative and work with mínimal direction, being resourceful and proactive in your approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - ability to influence and build relationships across teams and stakeholders
