**The Role**
Working to the Industry Hub’s Assistant Director’s broad direction, you will:

- Provide administration and management support to the Hub’s activities including triaging enquiries, managing service level agreement workflows and managing the Hub’s various reporting requirements.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of ODIS’s program suite of information products for the diverse range of industry enquiries and executive tasks the Hub is responsible for or has a supporting role in.
- Manage and action all communications received through ODIS’s communication channels, that includes enquiries from businesses and industry, internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other areas of ODIS and IE Division.

**About our Team**
Industry Engagement Division (IE Div) is within Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group, Department of Defence. We support Defence deliver on the Government’s policy direction to equip and sustain the ADF. We assist in developing initiatives designed to drive behavioural change across Government, Defence and Industry to develop a deeper and broader sovereign industrial base while making Defence a stronger client.

Office of Defence Industry Support, ODIS, works with businesses, industry, associations, state and territory governments to help build a globally competitive and sustainable Australian defence industry that can meet Defence’s capability requirements. ODIS is designed to help transform the Defence/industry relationship and to fund new industry development, critical skilling and export programs.

Working with us will provide a unique opportunity to engage with Government and Industry on an important Government initiative, and an opportunity to develop or utilise your experience in public service and/or commercial acumen.
- Excellent knowledge of and recent experience in, administration processes and procedures including coordination of a range of activities.
- A sound understanding of compliance, assurance and probity issues and management.
- Strong customer and information delivery service, including understanding and responding to enquiries through research of multiple resources and delivery appropriate correspondence.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Identify and prioritise your work and manage time-conflicting tasks.
- Strong confidence working independently and responding to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive and constructive relationships with colleagues, management and other stakeholders in Defence and with ODIS’s service providers.
- Strong team building and collaboration skills.
- An understanding of Defence’s procurement and contracting landscape.
- Small business understanding and business acumen.
- High familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
