Bank Manager
Lead and empower a dedicated team
- Full-time opportunity
- Elevate your career at Westpac Group
**How will I help?**
Our branches are an important part of the communities they’re based in - and as the Bank Manager, it’s up to you to keep making that impact. Leading a diverse team of equally-passionate people, you’ll help customers from all walks of life with their personal and business banking, as well as wealth management.
And you’ll come to know and care about those customers - giving them the best possible advice with their banking. So that Westpac is known across Melbourne as the best bank in the community.
**What’s in it for me?**
As well as job flexibility and the financial benefits for being part of the Westpac team (like banking, wealth and insurance offers) you’ll be paid fairly, and trained so your career can grow as you do. You’ll also be encouraged to take part in our fun community projects as a paid volunteer.
Whatever shape your family takes, we offer generous paid and unpaid parental leave for your nominated primary and support carers. This includes leave to organise adoptions, surrogacy, and foster care arrangements. And we continue to pay your super contributions while you take all the time you need to get your new family settled.
**What do I need?**
You’ll take to leading a team like you’ve done it for years (and you might have - previous banking experience is definitely an advantage). That means investing in the development of the people around you - and possessing the experience and the insights to steer you all to success. Above all else, you’ll be passionate about making customers’ days - or weeks, or months. And you’ll know exactly how to put them first while still running a thriving business.
**What’s it like to work there?**
We aim to build one big supportive team of people who love helping others succeed. As an equal opportunity employer, we’re proud to have created a culture where people can be their best, in an environment that values diversity and flexibility. And one where everyone belongs.
