**About you**
- A passionate belief in the Children Services, development and education of children
- Strong ethics and genuine approach towards child dignity and safety and Work Health and Safety
- Adaptability, flexibility, resilience and respond positively to change.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Want to help support and make a difference
- Hold or are working towards a Certificate or Diploma relevant to the industry

**Tasks & responsibilities**
The position will be assisting small groups of children and teens with intellectual disabilities:

- Comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct to support participants in ways that are respectful and inclusive
- Coach and build confidence in participants to develop the skills they need, such as cooking, budgeting, and shopping
- Provide personal care, such as mealtimes, toileting or other tasks, responding flexibly to participant preferences

**Mandatory Requirements**
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (State-based)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- NDIS Worker Check and WWCC
- First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Evidence of COVID 19 Immunisations and booster
- Experience in the profession and evidence of involvement in clinical supervision and professional development as required by the associated body.
