An experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Officer is needed for a supportive team on the Gold Coast

Our client requires an experienced and driven Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on the Gold Coast. This position is part-time permanent role in an award-winning company with more than 40 years’ experience in the industry. This position will require a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a positive environment. Being the leaders in their field, they have a proven track record of success and a strong reputation.
**Your new role**
Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for completing the entire Accounts Payable function. Core duties will include invoice processing, coding and payment runs, reconciliation's and assisting in correspondence enquiries from creditors. You will also be required to liaison with branch offices, filing and scanning of accounts paperwork, and handling any Ad Hoc duties. In such a high volume and fast-paced role, the team leader will expect the payable's function to be completed in an accurate and timely manner.
**What you'll need to succeed**
We are seeking an individual who will enjoy working in a fast-paced, progressive and supportive environment. Key skills will include:
- Demonstrated experience in an End to End high-volume Accounts Payable role.
- Detail orientated and able to diagnose payment issues.
- Experience performing complex account reconciliations.
- Excellent computer skills, advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Flexible in their approach to work and continuously striving to improve processes.
