Our Flood Restoration Portfolio (FRP) is the principal delivery agency for restoring Councils’ and Community assets. Over the coming months, the team will grow exponentially, offering exciting opportunities for personal and professional development as we deliver many rebuild and transformation projects for our community.
**About the Opportunity**: Our Flood Restoration Portfolio currently has a fantastic opportunity for an Integration Manager. This role oversees and facilitates the development of the asset hierarchy, asset tactics, and supporting documentation package through to completion. This role also supports the commissioning and integration of all assets under the FRP's responsibility, including collaboration with the Project managers, contractors, vendors, and LCC Operational teams by participating in project reviews, risk assessments, and developing Project Operational Readiness Plans and deliverables for the project execution team.
**What we trust you to deliver**:
- Develop and manage the operational readiness plan to ensure a seamless transition during the separation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across Council, project team, and third parties to align operational needs.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the separation, ensuring business continuity.
- Prepare and manage readiness artifacts, including SOPs, process documentation, and training materials for handover.
- Continuously update the asset management system as assets are modified or replaced.
- Organise and deliver training programs for operations and maintenance personnel on new systems if required.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and liaise with regulatory bodies.
- Provide post-separation support, monitoring progress and addressing operational challenges to maintain stability.
**What you'll need to be successful**:
- Relevant engineering and/or project management qualifications.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Project Management are desirable.
- Experience in community infrastructure, earthworks, drainage, road construction, and buildings.
- A collaborative management style to build a close, outcome-focused team.
- Strong commercial acumen, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication & relationship-building skills with various stakeholders (subcontractors/managing contractors, internal stakeholders, and suppliers).
- Excels at organisation, time management, problem-solving, and budgeting.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
**Additional details**:
- This position is a full-time, term-based appointment until 31 December 2026
- This is an annualised salary rate + superannuation.
- The position will be based primarily at our Flood Portfolio Office in Lismore. Flexible work options are available, working within operational requirements.
