**The role**:
We are currently seeking Support Workers within the Brisbane South/East area to support our clients. This role will involve travelling between client's homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements (mainly Domestic Assistance and Social Support) providing person-centred care and support. This role would be ideal for someone just entering into the industry who would like to build their experience and skills or someone returning to work, who would be mainly interested in providing social support, transport and help around the home (Domestic Assistance).

**Duties and responsibilities may include**:

- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
- Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment including: standing or walking frames, wheelchairs, manual or electric hoists, sliding sheets or moving boards, hearing aids and other physical aids
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
- Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required

**What you will need**:

- Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (required)
- Proof of Vaccination (where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificate
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
- Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Current and satisfactory Yellow Card & Blue Card
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable, Registered and Insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is preferred)
- Smartphone with internet access (required)
