Skout Solutions are looking for expressions of interest on exciting upcoming road maintenance works on the Sunshine Coast. We are looking for a number of Civil Leading Hands with experience across Pavement or Drainage. The work will be 4 days Monday to Thursday (10 hours per day) with an optional 5th day of overtime on a 6- month project with the opportunity to go permanent from there.

Reporting to the Pavement and Drainage Supervisor you will:

- Lead 2-5 labourers operating excavators and traffic controllers and performing Minor pavement or drainage repairs as necessary
- Problem solve and address minor pavement or drainage repairs proactively
- Demonstrate a high level of ownership for safety when working in and around traffic

You will need:

- Experience working on roads in a civil leading hand position (essential)
- An understanding of erosion and sediment controls, as well as roadside storm-water drainage systems (preferred)
- White card & High risk licenses (essential)
- Experience in the operation of small earth-moving plant (is an advantage)
- Surveying or leveling skills (an advantage)
- Experience using power hand tools (essential)
- The ability to be flexible and undertake other duties as necessary
